lol I like grabbing the thermal goggles, letting him take the first shots at me, and then trying to find his footsteps so I can follow him to where he takes cover and hold him up.

I played mgs1 in grade school and mgs2 in high school and quit playing by the time this came got back into gamming when the 360 came out beat mgs4 when i came out now i wish i would have played mgs3 before 4 i'm starting to think its the best one it is by far the most challenging one with a pretty story line less a mind fuck than 4 was all together a great story
If i gave one reason why i ever started playing video games it was for metal gear.

Portable Ops for PSP maybe ? I still haven't finished that game and I'm one of the biggest MGS fans around

That's nothing, I killed The End while he was being wheeled by a henceman.
His wheelchair exploded and hit me all the way on the other side of the map.
His boss fight was later on replaced by ocelot units.
On my first play through though, I played dead, and he came out of hiding to check up on me, then I revived, and held him up for the shirt on his back. Now I had a camo that regenerates Stamina. haha
Never new about the bird thing though.

MGS3 story is really good, and you went and spoiled it for youself.

I bought three new at best buy for 10 but just didn't get around to playing before 4 and still didn't really till a month ago i started it and picked it back up now i thought it was really hard and got a little frustrated with it. I play drunk almost all the time for the last year or so so i mainly play cod4 r2 and killzone stories are pretty hard to follow well by the 8 or 9th beer i have bioshock for at least 6 months and have played much the only time i get around to those games is on my days off in the morning before i go out like today i hope to beat mgs3 before five while i do laundry this morning its 11 here in wisconsin.
I have portable ops to but i get kind of board with the psp i feel like a dork playing it on my break at work and when im home or at the womans house i play the ps3 or sometimes the xbox360
wow i wish i had you people when i ran through the game the first time.
