The goal of ME2 will be to find out if Shepard is really alive or dead...I'll then assume that he will indeed be alive, and you'll eventually meet up with his character at some point in the game, and be a playable character.
I think some of the main points from your ME1 save will be:
- Killing/Saving the Rachni Queen - Saving/Killing Kaiden, Ashley, and Wrex - Romance Options - Geth Outpost on the Armstrong Cluster quest - Who was saved/lost on the council - Kohoku's Cerberus quest - Saving/Jailing Anoleis on Noveria - Saving the Asari from the Thorian (or killing her)
Those, at least, would be the logical ones.
I'm really interested in finding out if you do any missions on planets mentioned in ME1 that may have had pre-Prothean races, like the Jupiter Brain on Ploba - I'd assume that it was an earlier victim on the Reapers, or the cataclysm on Klendagon/Presop. Will we learn about the Zeioph?
Lots of neat questions. I'm finishing up my last Mass Effect playthrough until I can get the current and upcoming DLC. I am 3 achievements (all biotic related) away from having 1000/1000 on ME. |
Great post, you seem to know a lot about ME.
You think the Shadow Broker will have a part in this game? If so... who do you think it is?

I am sure the Shadow Broker will be in the game. How he will be represented (a congomerate of people, as suggested by Barla Von), or a single person (affiliated with the Illusive man, maybe?), or species (could the SB be part of the Collective?) can greatly vary.
However, I am proof positive SB will be in ME2. If you complete Admiral Kohoku's quest line (Missing Marines, and then the Cerberus related missions), you have an opportunity to give the Shadow Broker the Cerberus data after the final mission. Should you give it to agent for the Shadow Broker, he reminds you that 'The Shadow Broker won't forget this' - insinuating that doing this does have far-reaching consequences.
ninty - Get out of this discussion. Mass Effect has one of the greatest storylines ever, and your comments prove you have never even tried the game for more than a minute.
