I think Sheps end up goin into deep space but captured by the Geths so the new character will take over the mission and have an option to rescue him/her.

 Well, I don't think that the geth were the reapers. Remember the Quarians created them. The Reapers existed wayyyyyy before. The rest of your post sounds cool. I think another gateway will be created which allows them to come out, but who will create it?

lestatdark isn't inferring that the Geth are the Reapers. But he's suggesting that the Geth are moving along the same evolutionary path as the Reapers.

The idea is that the Reapers were created by some species, just like the Quarians created the Geth, the Reapers rebelled, and wiped out all organic species at that time. Afterwards, they initiated their 50,000 yearly quest of removing all organic life from the galaxy.

The goal of ME2 will be to find out if Shepard is really alive or dead...I'll then assume that he will indeed be alive, and you'll eventually meet up with his character at some point in the game, and be a playable character.

I think some of the main points from your ME1 save will be:

- Killing/Saving the Rachni Queen
- Saving/Killing Kaiden, Ashley, and Wrex
- Romance Options
- Geth Outpost on the Armstrong Cluster quest
- Who was saved/lost on the council
- Kohoku's Cerberus quest
- Saving/Jailing Anoleis on Noveria
- Saving the Asari from the Thorian (or killing her)

Those, at least, would be the logical ones.

I'm really interested in finding out if you do any missions on planets mentioned in ME1 that may have had pre-Prothean races, like the Jupiter Brain on Ploba - I'd assume that it was an earlier victim on the Reapers, or the cataclysm on Klendagon/Presop. Will we learn about the Zeioph?

Lots of neat questions. I'm finishing up my last Mass Effect playthrough until I can get the current and upcoming DLC. I am 3 achievements (all biotic related) away from having 1000/1000 on ME.

Great post, you seem to know a lot about ME.

You think the Shadow Broker will have a part in this game? If so... who do you think it is?

Not a silly little kid... Mass Effect is rated 12 in UK, SMG is rated 3+.

Wait...you're telling me ME is a childs game compared to Mario? I think you have your understanding of mature titles and titles for children backwards.

The thing about this is if you create a new character and make him powerful like Shepard, then your team will be impossible to decimate once you find Shepard. LOL Some of the other interests are beyond me, I didn't know about all of those Pre-Porthean races. Great post.

I think a lot of people are failing to realise something about Mass Effect 2.

SPOILERS!!!!

At least in the immediate aftermath of the Citadel attack, the galaxy at large doesn't know Reapers were behind it. They believe it was the Geth. It says so in one of the Mass Effect novels (Revelations I think).
