Wow they've really gone all out on this game. I almost feel like I need to buy it just because of how much amazingness they're putting into it. I hate dislike boxing games, too.

That's cool, I like it. I like that the game is not over once you have the title, that the story actually continues and you now are the one to defend against all the challengers. And I like that it gives a more dynamic aspect to the characters, making it that they learn from their mistakes. I'm certainly getting this game.

I don't understand why they would wanna keep this mode under wraps. It's a huge selling point.

Like the article said, the real game doesn't even begin until you win the title.

No, sales will depends on Nintendo's marketing campaign and on the word of mouth. Old fans of the franchise will buy it.And don't forget the first mode, who will surely be great (look at Punch Out !! and Super Punch Out !!).But I agree this mode is more exciting.

True.  But I think a lot of series' vets who are on the fence will be urged to pick it up with this new mode.  The main criticism up to this point was that we know all the fighter's patterns from past games.  The new mode totally eliminates that advantage.

Yes, but I think (and I hope) that it will be marketed and that all will know about it. It's really a part of the game, as the first mode and the multiplayer so it's worth mentionning. I hope Nintendo won't make the mistake ( in terms of sales) to keep it secret... And it might be unfortunately.

Well, that basically kills one of the only two negative things about this game.
