WessleWoggle and the rest of you liberals. You who call yourself so moral and justful and say everyone should be equal, traditional values must be broken and stuff - what right do you have to eat animals?

Exactly. You're just like a racist. And hypocrite too.

Umm, you should know you're talking to a vegetarian... Please get off the fail train.

Good! But yet you don't see the point??

I'm not a hypocite nor a racist. I hold everyone to the same standard as me.

So I do not see your point.

I do not.

It's a greater injustice to eat animals like cows and pigs, than to deny homosexuals to marry - don't you agree?

But i dont see you attacking your liberal peers by calling them ignorant, unjust, bigot, illogical and brain washed for eating animals.

wow this is actually what most anti gay activists do. Instead of giving logical fair arguments against gay marriage, they compare it to completely OTHER things, like for instance eating animals. Not joking, it's what almost all do. Sad it took me this long to realise.

Holy shit, I kid you not.

First, take the wood out of your own eye. Then you will see clearly to take the dust out of your friend's eye.

Well of course YOU don't understand. But yeah it's completely true, I seen enough interviews to come to that conclusion. Always comparing with silly things haha, always. Still can't believe I didn't realise sooner :S

You're just trolling now because you lost your whole case. Nice way to dodge the discussion by mocking me.

You seriously think it's a silly comparison?

Well, you might see me calling them those things if they said that we should be allowed to eat animals because it's a sacred tradition. But they don't do that, they have a very clear line of logic.

Eating animals is logical. They taste good, they are nutritious, and eating already dead meat does not harm anything. The only thing that is wrong is buying the meat and thus supporting the meat industry.

Even though buying meat, and thus supporting slaughter, is evil, I understand FULLY their viewpoint.

But I cannot understand the viewpoint of people who are against gay marriage. With anti-gay marriage people, they have no logic, all they have are logical fallacies that try to appeal to tradition, a sense of sacredness, or authority.

I respect meat eater logic more than anti-gay-marriage logic, people who are against gay marriage have no logic.

Meat eater logic: Meat tastes good, so I eat it(and thus support slaughter)

That, even though it's messed up and wrong, it is logical. If animals aren't slaughtered and sold, people won't get their meat. There's an actual negative effect on the individual.

Anti-gay-marriage logic: Marriage is sacred/tradition/against god, so gays should not be allowed to.

That is not logical. If gay marriages are allowed, it won't do any harm to the individuals marriage to their spouse. There is no logic in saying that gay marriage will reduce the sacredness, or tarnish the tradition, because sacredness is a meaningless word, and traditions don't dictate what's best for future generations.

There's no reason why gays shouldn't be allowed to marry, marriage isn't sacred, it's just a social contract, which can and should be changed if the cirsumstances call for it, which they do, because gays deserve equal rights to do everything straight people can..

@Serapheart, please don't say "every Christian knows." I personally know Christians who voted against Prop 8 out here in California, and Christians who don't believe that the end times are nigh. There are gay Christians who perform gay weddings at gay churches in America right now. Do you really think Jesus would discriminate against them? Or would he wash their feet and love them and embrace them and befriend them?

Maybe we read different Bibles. In the King James Bible Jesus mentions "peace" 105 times. I think he mentions marriage twice, right? And he never mentions homosexuality. If you're a Christian, following the teachings of Christ, I don't see how you'd care about homosexuality or marriage at all, and I'd assume you'd prefer peace with your brothers and sisters, no matter who they are or what they do.

You can speak for yourself, and maybe your whole family, church, or neighborhood, but you can't speak for all of Christianity. Marriage isn't even a sacrament for Protestants, and it wasn't a sacrament for Catholics until they decided to take over the ancient tradition during the 12th century. Christianity is different for different people, different places, and different times, which is why it shouldn't be the basis for absolute law in a government that isn't a Christian theocracy. Not only can Christians not agree on a universal morality with non-Christians, but there are so many different conflicting ideas within the umbrella of Christianity itself that there are 33,280 denominations worldwide (according to the World Christianity Encyclopedia, year 2000 version).

I thought u were more intelligent than this.

So just because it's logical, it's okay? That's a very weak defense. You see, saying:

"Meat tastes good, so I eat it"
is logically equal to saying:
"jews are ugly, so I gass them"

Horrible comparison. Gassing jews kills jewish people, where as eating meat only puts already dead meat into your body, and causes no harm to any living thing.

There's NOTHING wrong with eating meat. At all. Only buying meat and slaughtering animals is wrong.

For example, you buy a cheeseburger, you're supporting the meat industry.

Someone else buys you a cheeseburger(without you asking them to), you are not supporting the meat industry.

Wow this thread is fucking stupid.

SIX pages of people bitching about what she said was right or wrong? Who cares? She wasn't brain washed, it was the way she was raised. There is nothing wrong with that.

You goddamn morons hate other people just because of their opinions or how they were raised?

Why don't you let your precious fucking socialist government tell you what to think. Good luck keeping your freedoms dumbasses.

*this post has been targeted at all the idiot Americans on VGChartz*

Are you just playing tricks? You yourself stated:

 -
see the last part 'and thus support slaughter'!

Of course supporting the meat industry/killing animals is implied when you're arguing against eating meat.

Stop playing games.
