These things (among a thousand of others) are making me hate liberals and gay activists and the same 'holier than thou' type of people.

And they're so unaware of their hypocrisy that it's pathetic.

Wtf? Explain.

Here is where they show their hypocrisy. They scream and cry out for their 'liberalism' and "equality" but when someone believes that marriage should only be between a man and a woman they start to boo you and call you a bigot and an idiot, and a homophobe and a "bible-toter" and all that other bull. It's really disgusting.

I think it's worse than hypocrisy though, I think those people (gay rights activists and such) are just wicked and revolting in the way they think, but that's besides the point, that's just me.

Because striving for equality is truly evil...

Wow there sure are some fucked up people here

You must be just like this guy

Obligatory dick measuring Gaming Laptop Specs: Sager NP8270-GTX: 17.3" FULL HD (1920X1080) LED Matte LC, nVIDIA GeForce GTX 780M, Intel Core i7-4700MQ, 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3, 750GB SATA II 3GB/s 7,200 RPM Hard Drive

She gave her opinion and lost because of it. Her opinion wasn't in any sense "bad" or "imposing" enough to where it should cause a big deal. It was simply an opinion. People don't agree with opinions, because they're opinions, but the fact that she lost for stating her opinion is just stupid, plain and simple.

Who care's if you think gay marriage is acceptable or not, that's not the issue here. Losing for an opinion is.

People shouldn't even be discussing this, and it was blown waaaay outta proportion.

Seeing how you actually agree with the extreme views of Serapheart , I dont really give a fuck what your point is.

LMAO You'd both be total outcasts in my country. But hey, your views are your views.

I should be able to marry. I'll never understand why I can not currently. :-/

Come to Canada, I like Bacon, we're way more open minded here... People here are allowed to marry who they want, regardless of gender and orientation.

I don't understand why people are so against it. It's not hurting your rights at all and it won't make straight marriage any less special. It's allowed here and it didn't hurt straight marriage, it doesn't make it less special... Seriously, people are so ignorant! They need to check out places where it's allowed. They need to open their eyes and see that it doesn't hurt them in any way.

See evolving, changing your views and such are essencial to humanity. If some people didn't think differently and if nothing would have changed, we would still be ignorant and primitive. Things like equal rights for women and people of other races wouldn't have happened.

Marriage, just like anything else, evolves as well. It's considered to be a bond of two people who love each other here. Everyone should have this right.

And saying gay people, in places where they're not allowed to marry each other, have the same right as straights is just a stupid thing. Sure you both have the right to marry the opposite gender, but the thing gay people are fighting for is the right to marry the person dear to their hearts, the person they love. Taking this away from them, without any logical reason except for "I don't like it, it's like this since millenia or it's not what I believe in" is just horrible.

Think of it, what if I took a right from you because my personal views would be that it's wrong. Now I'm pretty sure you wouldn't be pleased with that.

People need to realize that because something has been some way since a long time doesn't make it right in any way. They need to see that changes aren't bad, if it's for more freedom and equality for all.

@ OP: I wonder if she really did lost because of this...

Best post in this thread. Epic!

On Access Hollywood and Inside Edition, they were trying to act as if Perez didn't ask her her opinion on the subject, but he said, "Do you think....?" So, I don't know how he wasn't asking her opinion.

Oh so your not American? Well that's a fucking relief, I thought I was talking to someone who knows what they're talking about. But I'm sure you know plenty about living in the states, so do go on.

BTW, they aren't extreme beleifs... They are fundamental beliefs, however, to many people. It's not like people against gay marriage are shouting "Lynch the......" You know? Many people just believe marriage is a special union between a man and a woman, the start of a nuclear family. And commonly for christians it also has a religious side to it. Yes, people abuse marriage to  steal money from old people and other reasons.. But there is nothing people can do to stop it. It's going to happen sometimes. In the case of Gay marriage, some people view it as open mocking of marriage.

@ OP: Yeah, I don't know if she lost because of it.. She shouldn't have been asked the question to begin with though. And then that guy gets pissed? C'mon! He asked the question! I mean, if you put your hand on a stove that's been used recently, wouldn't you be prepared if it was still hot? You shouldn't be "suprised and shocked". You took the risk.
