Its alright, I settled for the SE from Japan, and I'll probably pick up the other figures on ebay or something

Yep. Can't think of SRPG that sold well without Final Fantasy in the title. |
Super Robot Wars SRPGs come to mind.
Though to be fair... 90% of those have tons of famous anime robots in it.
OG outsold it too though... and that was just original characters.

They go for ~$30 on ebay. The new swimsuit figures go for more.
Haha... Wow, everyone's really touchy in this thread.
My apologies. Apples to apples, oranges to oranges.
Valkeria is not doing as well as it should/could for a title of its quality. This seems to speak more about PS3 owners - who AREN'T buying it than anything else.
If you make it and no one buys it, despite fantastic reviews, what does that say to the developers who poured millions into its creation? People are dumb? Not much comfort as their publisher reconsiders whether they should invest in these types of games moving forward, or at best reduce the budgets and scope.
And the Vesperia reference was merely to point out that good titles go unplayed on both consoles.
Which again, says more about the purchasing patterns of the owners of the consoles than anything else. The PS3 version of Vesperia probably won't fare much better than the 360 version.
This title will probably end up in a "best games on the PS3 most people never played" list.

That's not it at all. It wouldn't have sold much better on any platform. SRPG have limited fanbases. Go look at the sales of Fire Emblem. A very big RPG series and the Wii version hasn't even sold 500k!
