I think that one of the main reasons as to why it has boosted sales is probably because of the Gamestop sale that has been going on. Every Gamestop that I have visited in my area in the past few weeks have all been sold out of the game and some of them had massive stock amounts for some reason. I think it is good that the game has picked up some steam because as more people get the game the more they will tell their friends about it and that could possibly garner more sales.

At the Gamestop sales price of $30 it is worth it, if it even remotely interests you.

I believe the anime series coming out likely has helped also. The lack of RPGs on the PS3 is another factor that can contribute here.

oh, I don't deny that it is probably getting a boost due to the Anime in Japan and the DLC/sale in the US, but this is still amazon we are talking about here. #1 on the charts sounded impressive until I realized they were talking Amazon.
