Forums - Sony - Would you be more HAPPY with your PS3 if SONY had made it like the Wii?

I would be seriously pissed.

I would never give 300$ to microsoft for a 360 but I'm not interested in buying a second ps2 either.

Definitly not i love my ps3 the way it is

PLAYSTATION®3 is the future.....NOW.......B_E_L_I_E_V_E

Consoles owned: Game Cube, Gameboy Color, Gameboy Advance, Nintendo DS, PSP, PS1, PS2, PS3.

My prediction: NATAL WILL NOT help 360 sales. Maybe a 50-100k boost week 1, then a 30-70 k boost week 2, and back to the norm again after 3-5 weeks.

If the PS3 was anything ike the Wii I wouldn't have bought one. I won a Wii in a competition and gave it to my sister.

PS3 is exactly what I wanted going into this generation. It has the features, the processing power, and the fun factor. The only thing wrong with the PS3 is the amount of time/effort put into the games. As Sony has shown. If you take the time, and get behind a good idea, PS3 is the best place in the world to make games.

No. If Sony and Nintendo switched places and Nintendo had the awesome HD console, I would be supporting Nintendo a lot more this gen. I support Nintendo and Sony as companies / brands equally and both much more than Microsoft.

"Naturally the common people don't want war: Neither in Russia, nor in England, nor for that matter in Germany. That is understood. But, after all, IT IS THE LEADERS of the country who determine the policy and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is TELL THEM THEY ARE BEING ATTACKED, and denounce the peacemakers for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. IT WORKS THE SAME IN ANY COUNTRY."  --Hermann Goering, leading Nazi party member, at the Nuremberg War Crime Trials

Obviously not. It's not overly expensive, I would have already bought a Wii if it featured anything remotely appealing to me.

It's all about the game.

No. I love my PS3 how it is.

didnt ps2 have this?

PS2 was technically the weaker system of the current 3, im not sure about dreamcast, they won that. Sony changed their mind and decided to go for power to see if they can win this way, tbh, it hasnt worked out that way, but if wii didnt have the remote we may have seen different results.

I personally thing Sony thought the world was going high def, they forgot about the cleverness of the WII, the thoughts virtual reality, eventually they will do what wii does with very very good graphics. That would be the great system, until they thought of something else really.

Sorry to get sidetracked, to answer your question, i am happy sony went a different way, EA apparently doesnt like MS or likes SONY a lot better, if MS was by themselves would they have such an amount of games, i do doubt it. So as i said i am happy the way it went

No way. I already own a Wii, and it's awesome. But I also like my PS3 for it's amazing mediacenter capabilities and realism-driven games.
