I love the PS3 & snakes & even the OLD EVA (eww)

NO.....I dont even own a PS3 (do own a Wii though), and there is no way I would want it like the Wii. The Wii is a great and unique console. But the PS3 and 360 with there exclusive titles and differences are fine just as they are.

If anything, I would have liked the PS3 to have just stuck with DvD's and push Blu-Ray with stand-alone players instead (maybe they would have won the format war, maybe not).....but it would have been a nice choice. I would have purchased one at a much cheaper price 2 years ago. As of right now, at $400 and already owning a stand-alone player........no way I am getting one till it is sub $300, if at all.......and as a gamer that makes me sad......:(. I would enjoy owning all 3.

I will have to say no. I may be in the minority, but I do not like the motion controls. Even some of the Sixaxis stuff in some games are cheesy. Regular controller is the best for me. I also like my games to look the best they can and a lot of the Wii games look kind of crappy( Yes I know there are some amazing looking ones too). Another thing I like about the PS3 is that most of the games that come out for it(exclusive or multi) are usually pretty decent. I do not like it when crap games are shoved out for the most popular console just to make a quick buck. I hated that for the PS2 also because there were so many games on the shelf but only a handful of good ones. Sorry for the rant, but I am glad that the PS3 went for the harder route that could play out for the better. It was a huge risk for Sony and I hope it pays off. It already has shown us some pretty amazing games and it can only get better. :)

Well seeing as I hate JRPGs mit a passion (Pokemon being the exception that proves the rule).... the only real benefit to gamers out of those pros you gave means shit all to me.

I'm gonna have to disagree with the bolded point. If by huge 3rd party support, you mean those quick cash ins from Ubisoft and crap like Carnival Games, I'll have to dissent. I'll happily take RE5, MGS4, Burnout, CoD: Modern Warfare, etc over those games.

And I don't want my PS3 loved in the same way the Wii is loved. The Wii is "loved" because it's "family-friendly" and "accessible to anyone". Like I said, I'd rather have something like MGS4 for my system.

In the end, yes, I like the PS3's multi-capabilities.

No. I would have went Wii60 if that were the case. I don't need two Wiis and I don't need two HD consoles. Which is why I'm quite happy with my Wii/PS3 combo.
