Forums - Sony - Why Sony Won't Lower the PlayStation 3's Price.

It may be late. It may be obvious. It may even ignore the fact that PS3 would benefit massively from a local price drop(after all the cost of a product is all relative) but its still the truth.

Anyway I'm sure SONY will cut PS3's price this year. They are just waiting for the right time to do so. (Ohh and id bet on $50 USD world wide price cut)

Actually most analysts and journalists have been predicting (almost demanding) a price cut. The ones saying Sony won't do it soon are much more rare.

One thing's for sure, the ones calling for a price cut rarely (never?) address Sony's financial issues which leads me to believe they have hardly analysed the consequences.
