Okay, loading times are simply inexcusable this gen on any system (slightly excusible on online play though). If the final game is like that it'll sell like crap in the west. It really ruins the immersion of the game.

Also, am I the only one disappointed with this? They didn't demo anything new (but I'm no MH expert) I would have expected a little swimming or something unique to the Wii version to be given. That looked like every other MH game (except prettier).

Looks like underwater Sword play is effective... could be the deception that great sword gives.

That's why Halo 3 didn't sell to every single 360 owner then, I guess. I always wondered what kind of fruit cake would buy a 360 and not play Halo!

Yep, looks like Monster Hunter.

Long loading times, terrible camera, and tedious combat.

I'm sure the game will look better than the PSP versions when not in Youtube quality.

And note: I'm sure the game would have been far more entertaining if he chose Lance or Sword and Shield.

I've never played Monster Hunter, so I'll be keeping an eye on this.

@wtf - Halo 3 has load times too? Not too surprising, it really didn't seem like much of a tech upgrade from Halo 2. But havn't play it myself.

@ Soriku - PSP is excusible because it a far less powerful system but if a game like Harry Potter can stream in the next area seamlessly I don't see why a AAA title like MH3 can't.

People keep slapping a number on the sales for this game, it's like they don't get it will be huge.

In Monster Hunter you make your weapons with the stuff you find, their is a recipe involved, same goes for Armor, all armor shows and you get special bonuses for wearing a set.

Wyverns are the main obstacle in the game, that's what it all comes down to.

In this way the game is like Shadow of Collosus but without all the fancy grabbing on to parts of the bosses.

The game is mission based and the missions range from gathering herbs to tackling a Lao Shan Lung.

The game appeals to armor horders, social creatures, packrats, perfectionists, drug dealers and poac.. monster hunter
