Funny story: I get a call from Ashley (the Gamestop system) telling me the game came in today, come 'n get it. I arrive after work, the employee's obviously never heard of the game, and.....the game's not there.

Computer shows it shipped, a shipment of a ton of other games arrived that morning, the computer says LKS has already arrived at the store (hence the message: 14 copies! Good news considering how small the store is!)...and LKS is a no-show. The guy (who received the shipment himself) says he doesn't remember it coming in, but hopefully tomorrow? Even though that store never gets shipments on Wednesday?

I like how the universe occasionally uses me to amuse itself. Really, I do!

Ouch.

Just stopped playing for a minute, bc i died, and id like to say the criticism that i heard about the beginning of the game i did not run into any yet in around 5 or 6 hours so far.

I've played about 5 hours so far. This game is absolutely delightful! It's kinda slow at first but once it gets rolling it becomes terribly addictive. Just beat the Onii King and I had a blast!
I have to say the pacing is perfect :)
Can't wait to kill some more kings.

I've sunk about fifteen hours into it (I'm doing as many of the sidequests as I can). Two kings down (and the added princesses make Princess Talk much more amusing. Not to mention Verde...) and I'm loving it. The game has some serious flaws that in any other title would drive me mad, but the rest of it is so great that I can easily overlook those problems.

Oh, and the battle against the fat king was so out of left field, and yet so completely awesome! I didn't see it coming, but it was a total blast!

well, that 13 hours down the toilet. i won't make that mistake again lol.

Oof! I'm sorry dude, I know how much that must suck. That's why I always make a point of saving in different slots myself.

Actually, that's a habit I picked up from glitchy SNES RPGs, but it really came in handy with KOTOR...

Anyhow, hope you get caught up soon!
