You are right. I officially appologize. It is just Sony has hurt us so many times in the past, that our 1st instinct is to hear an insult.

There are some good things about Sony though. They have had some good games and I like the idea that their System is built to stay in the market for 9 years (at least that is what I heard).

So I am guessing that Sony is following the reverse pyramid scheme...start by attracting the "hard to appeal hardcore" gamers, then climb down - or, since this is a reverse pyramid - they are climbing up to the casuals.

I don't see how this is any surprise. If you look at the latter half of the PS2's lifespan you see tons of casual games from Sony. Singstar, Buzz, Eyetoy:everything. They just need to name the Playstation Eye the PSi to help with marketing it's games.
