I'll agree with half of that, stof.

We really need more Platformers and Less Shooters.

Which is sad. I hope Nintendo brings back Donkey Kong and Kirby on the Wii with true sequels, and Ubi Soft delivers a Rayman platformer (RRR is great, but I hope it won't be the only thing we see of Rayman in the future).

And if Sega is able to get the Sonic franchise back on track that would be great too.

A Donkey Kong 64-like game would rock on the Wii. It could look really good...play well like a traditional platformer, with some waggle thrown in I'm sure...

It would sell very well too...I doubt Wii owners could pass that up.  I don't know why Nintendo doesn't focus more on games like that...true sequels instead of spin-offs.  Mario's got it right...great sequels like Galaxy, but great spin-offs too like Strikers... 

True, a new Donkey Kong platformer would be awesome and it would sell like hotcakes.

But Nintendo seems to have problems when a studio which developed some quality franchises leaves. The same was happening after Gunpei Yokoi left Nintendo, Metroid skipped an entire generation. I just hope that Donkey Kong will have the same comeback Metroid had.

If this game gets 9 or above reviews and I still don't have a 360 by that time, I will run to the store and buy one :D
banjo-kazooie is amazing fun. But I don't see why everyone always comepares it to mario 64. they are completly different. (atmosphere, not overworld design/story)

this game will be released in 2008 competing against what people say is the playstation's best year. I hope xbox 360 gets some awesome games out in 2008 because PS3 is releasing MGS4, FFXIII, more.

You know, thats a good question, thought probably a dumb one.  Could Nintendo release the old ones on VC?  oh do they not own the rights to them?

I hope this game will be awesome, and it might actually do well.  theres a lot of people who own x360 who grew up playing banjo kazooie.  Even if u had a playstation at the time,  people still knew banjo kazooie.
