Hehe...Nintendo abandoning teh hardcore crowd!!

We've only seen a minute or two of gameplay, and it was rather rough...basically a hack and slash...with a hammer though. Could be fun, could still work if they do make it...but I think most of us knew it wasn't gonna work.

yeah one less game for the hardcore wii users, but at leat we have carnival games.

It looked really intresting. I would have played it and given it a chance. It's a shame it got cancelled.

Correct. If you check NST's record, they've largely been for the US audience as intended when Nintendo created the team.



My colleagues played it at E3 and found it pretty fun. It was hack N slash but in a whole new package, setting and play control. Made an old genre seem fresh.

Seriously though, no one cares because the game simply didn't look very good.  Oh joy, smashing things with a hammer... there are plenty of beat-em-ups out there and this one wasn't going to be anything special.  You tell me Disaster is canceled and then I'll be pissed.

True, NST is the worst out of the important Nintendo studios... I hope they are developing Wave Race Wii now instead, cause Blue Storm was the only thing they have really done entirely right till now.
