Blood Money is bloody genius. seriously, it's a fantastic game. I tried to play the first one and Silent Assassin but not being able to run sucks (and the first 1 has clunky controls). but it's not a game for everyone, especially if you don't like replaying missions. the best "ending" on the theater mission is amazing, but almost every mission is just genius, except the boat one that I thought it was too much. I prefer missions with fewer targets

I read somewhere that they had confirmed a new game was in production. That was like in 2006 or something.
My guess is with Eidos being bought out a lot of the games before this happened probably got put on the back burner. Now that it is all done and dusted and are now SE owned i would imagine the game will be shown at E3. Or at least officially revealed. The series has a big fanbase and it is a very unique game, now a multi-media franchise. You can expect it to be pimped out more often now im sure.
So i would hazard a guess were see something about the game at E3, maybe its name and a quick cut scene. Then will probably be released next year.

"Eidos' Ian Livingstone, recently named Wookiee Life President or Square Enix Proconsul or something, gave a kitchen-sink interview in which sequels for nearly every major Eidos IP were tipped, teased or confirmed.

Speaking to Gaming Indians, Livingstone says IO Interactive is working on a new Hitman title; Kane and Lynch 2 has a hoped-for release of September, and he doesn't exactly dispel the idea that Eidos Montreal's "secret project" is Thief IV."

Hitman 2 is one of the best PS2 games imo, how can you not love a game that lets you go on a killing spree whilst wearing the uniform of a postman

It's a really good series I really loved the Third game and blood money was cool although a little bit unforgiven
