I read somewhere that they had confirmed a new game was in production. That was like in 2006 or something.
My guess is with Eidos being bought out a lot of the games before this happened probably got put on the back burner. Now that it is all done and dusted and are now SE owned i would imagine the game will be shown at E3. Or at least officially revealed. The series has a big fanbase and it is a very unique game, now a multi-media franchise. You can expect it to be pimped out more often now im sure.
So i would hazard a guess were see something about the game at E3, maybe its name and a quick cut scene. Then will probably be released next year.
