I have not heard anything about it requiring a subscirption to play.  My only concern is servers.  PS3 games have had a lot of server issues upon release, 256 players on one map isnt going to help that.  I have no doubt it will be a good game, i have loved all the SOCOM games that Zipper has made...and was disgusted by the pile of crap that slant six released with the SOCOM name.  I am optimistic but waiting for more info to be released

I've heard about the subscriptions. With dedicated servers for 256 people per game i'd make people pay as well.

No that crowd still belongs to Halo 3. The only real threat to the Halo 3 userbase is another Halo game on the Xbox 360, not some over-hyped PS3 game which is yet to prove itself.

 

Tis true. Sony still cannot seem to publish an FPS that can dethrone Halo.

 

Or any shooter in general which can dethrone Gears of War 1/2.

 

well call of duty 4 is on both consoles and that obviously has dethroned halo

 

 

 

Thats purely opinion. Xbox Live's top 10 list says otherwise.

I'm willing to bet that MAG won't be released this year. I do think that by the time it is released things will have already been decided and it won't make any difference.

idk if it will be a hardware mover but it will definatly sell alot of copies but i know i am looking forward to this game. If it lives up to the hype it will be a beast of a game

Dude, I couldn't agree more. I think Sony and Zipper are going to nail this game and make a really great online shooter. It's a day 1 buy for me.
