If its only 78k units bundled then...dam...there goes the chance for the psp to outsell the ds :(

But FF VII is going to sell a $hit load maybe selling out(if it does the shipment was 800k). Also If FF VII was truly confirmed then Im seeing it for december 2008.

On Topic: 500k my opinion depends on the total of shipments of copies that are out there, more than likely Square Enix probably shipped 1 million and then there some bundle with the PSP. Expect a good high number for the PSP and Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core.

I can't wait for this game to come out in America!!!

And just curious are these bundles included with the new PSP Lite or regular PSP?

I don't think you understand what being a troll means. He said sales would be less then te pokemon game that came out the same day. You predicted a direct sales number.

Either way, eh, i may give it a third shot if FF7 if released for the PSP. I was bored to tears by FF7 in comparison to the previous final fantasys and other RPGs and have given away both of my previous copies. However maybe the improvements will make it better. Probably not.

I'm actually at a loss to why the games are so popular and why. I mean I get why other popular games I don't like are popular but FF7 had the worst graphics relative to it's system i've ever seen, a story that could charitably described as dumbed down from previous editions and a battle system and customization that was also kinda dumbed down.

Guess it was just at the right place at the right time, maybe as a first RPG or early RPG it's a good game or it has to do with the media blitz that happened at the time. Got me.

it feels like deja vu. Kinda like when ff7 came out for the ps and drove the sales crazy.
Its seems like iwata was right when he said the software sells the hardware.

Anyway, it's not ridiculous to say Pokemon will outsell it. The last two Pokemon Mystery Dungeon sold 1.6 million copies between the two versions in Japan. The highest selling PSP game in Japan is Monster Hunter Freedom 2nd at 1.34 million copies in Japan. There is certainly a good chance of it outselling FFVII in Japan.

However, that said, I'm sure FFVII will do great. It may even sell out of it's full 800K shipment in it's first week. After all, MHF2 sold 700K copies in it's first week. I'm sure it will outsell Pokemon Dungeon in the short run too, but Pokemon Dungeon will have legs. Anyway, it's sure to be a great game and I'll be buying it.
