Anyway, it's not ridiculous to say Pokemon will outsell it. The last two Pokemon Mystery Dungeon sold 1.6 million copies between the two versions in Japan. The highest selling PSP game in Japan is Monster Hunter Freedom 2nd at 1.34 million copies in Japan. There is certainly a good chance of it outselling FFVII in Japan.
However, that said, I'm sure FFVII will do great. It may even sell out of it's full 800K shipment in it's first week. After all, MHF2 sold 700K copies in it's first week. I'm sure it will outsell Pokemon Dungeon in the short run too, but Pokemon Dungeon will have legs. Anyway, it's sure to be a great game and I'll be buying it.
