Forums - Microsoft - disadvantages of the 360

@ Katilian - it is the same on all platforms, and I think they should just charge for each individual transaction, instead of selling points period, it wouldn't be that hard for the companies.

While I agree this would be excellent, the trouble with micro-payments is that when you decide you want DLC which only costs 50c, Visa/Mastercard/etc... is going to charge their fee for the transaction which Sony/MS/Nintendo aren't going to absorb so now your 50c transaction is going to cost you a $1.50 instead.

u use money on the psn.

According to wiki, this system isn't used everywhere (Japan, Asia) and you can also buy prepaid cards in the US. Given wiki has answered my main question (you pay into a "wallet" not on a per transaction basis), is there a minimum amount you can add to your "wallet" at one time?

FAULTY HARDWARE ie. RED RING OF DEATH

"I don't have time to play video games anymore, but if I did, I would definitely choose the PlayStation 3 instead of the 360" - President Barack Obama

The main one for me is Hardware reliability.

*Al Bundy's My Hero*

*Al Bundy For President*

Waiting On GT7!!!

 PSN ID: Acidfacekiller

Its expensive...

The mountains of games...

The accessories like keypad, bluetooth headset, larger drives, etc.

DLC...

Movies...

It is costing me a lot...

The d-pad

Leaving in constant fear of it randomly failing

The Noise (this isn't much of a problem for me)

Largest console this gen

Other than that, it's definitely a solid console

The ps3 is bigger than the 360.

Word...Way bigger...and that install everything before you play it is annoying
