wow are they trying to KILL PSP HW sales by spreading info like this

I know they don't confirm it.....but it puts a seed in people's mind that says "oh lets wait a while the 2nd one may come out soon"

The latest issue of Play has a feature on new PSP:

LoL making new models without UMD is sure way to piss all existing customers who already have games on the discs.

They must provide some way of using those (uploading images to new PSP or external umd drive periphery)

I dont know if dumping the UMD drive is such a good idea, especially seeing that Japan, the PSPs main teritory at the moment is so against DL content....

Anyways, Im keeping my eyes open for this years E3, and like always I bet that the redesign will probably be pretty different then what the rumors suggest... OK, except the PSP3000, that was some leaked info :P

I'm pretty sure this is refering to a PSP2

They should use OLED tech for the psp 2, make it super small and super efficient. Also getting rid of the UMD would make it again even smaller and more energy efficient.
