Less money? Last time I checked all new Xbox 360 and PS3 games were $60.
PS3 can very easily be connected to a PC monitor, simply get a HDMI to DVI connector, that's what I use.
A growing list of PSN exclusives are and have been coming out, and they have been getting much more attention.
As for the backwards compatibility, you can find a PS3 with it, however in all honesty, how many Xbox games do you play on your 360? And of those how many do you play reguraly? I"m guessing little to none.

That's just a sign of how low the quality of the console is, two warranty extensions? That's not a good thing bro.

360 backward compatibility isn't good. either >_o
ps3 got fully PS1 though.

The Content of XBL can not be compared to PSN...PSN is like Having WebTV
XBL is like Online gaming on a home Console

I think you misunderstood me, or i just didn't say it correctly. When you want to play a multiplatform game, and you want to get a console for it, it'll be cheaper to get an X360 + the game for the same or better experience, than to get a PS3 + the game. Does not make the game cheaper, but it does make the whole experience cheaper. It might be the same as the console is cheaper, but on the game department, the cheaper console does not mean less quality games, that's what i was referring to.
HDMI to DVI converter? What about the sound? And what if your monitor has only the VGA available? It's rare, but still.
And I don't really know many PSN games there are since i don't own a PS3
The games i play are Ninja Gaiden Black, DOA2 ultimate and DOA3. All from Team Ninja O_O. Too bad they still don't support kung fu chaos or i would play that one too. I might be the exception though. But i bet a lot of people still want to play the first fable and first halo on their current xbox.

Wow, the SDF really came out in force in this thread. lol. I think it's awesome to compare the response to this thread to that of the sony one. Really shows you how the people on this site really lean towards ps3.
I consider the articles view more geared towards an entry level gamer looking at what is most cost effective to play games. The items listed are a primary reason why the 360 is outselling the PS3. If you want to play games, and you take into consideration that the majority of the top selling games this Gen are multi-platform, than the easy choice is the 360.
If all I want to do is play RE5, GTA, Dead Space, Devil May Cry, ect. and my choices are (360- $199 + game cost), or (PS3 $399 + game cost), I will go 360. Especially considering that for the $200 difference in console price I can probably get 3-4 of the games I want to play. That doesnt even take into consideration the cheap cost of older quality used titles.
If you are interesting in the features and exclusives of a particular console, the buying choice is dependent on those particular interests. But for a gamer, looking to just play games, this article is not too far off.
You get what you pay for, which means you lose on the long term if you think about reliability.
Had a brand new Last Remnant game, first battle, RROD, RMA microsoft. Thanks for giving me some quality gaming time for $199.
IMHO, better buy a quality 360 for $300 than an unreliable 360 for $200. Unfortunately we weren't given the choice, they decided to go with cheaper and faster, even if it meant sacrificing quality.
