Forums - Sales - Halo 4 to be Multiplatform?

Halo 4 will be a launch title for the next Xbox, this has already been stated and its already being developed.I think the peter jackson halo project will be the last halo on 360 and no there will never be a halo on a sony platform unless sony buys microsoft.

hmm microsoft owns the ip

but bungie can pull off a ninja gaiden 2, sigma
and call it helo, change the design abit and the story.

they can leave the multiplayer intact and they can release on a sony or nintendo console

I would so play Helo...But no...this thread is pointless..as for Ninja Giaden....Itagaki quit....That is not good for team ninja but i think they will be fine in the long run...OMG what If MS unviels a new Itagaki Game at E3 that would be sweet

Jo21, thats what I have been saying!

Yeah... that sounds exactly like what happened with Ninja Gaiden 2... Tecmo found a a brilliant loophole.

I think the scenario you've created more closely resembles Monster World/Adventure Island.

It will happen if Sony agreed to make GT as multiplat.

halo is microsoft owned, bungie could make a clone of it but all names would have to be different. i dont think the halo franchise is that big anoymore, well i dont mean the franchise i mean halo 3. almost 10 million people own it but i think only 5 million of them like it and even less still play it..

Where do you come up with this stuff?  If wishes were horses I guess.  Even with your flawed "crazyman" logic, thats still 400% MORE people who like it than bought KZ2.  LOL

Why would Bungie want to piss off M$?  They still have a very good working relationship with each other and there would be more money in cooperating than standing back and pissing on M$'s leg.

If anything, Bungie would go in a totally new direction with a new IP and then they could still have the working relationship with M$ even if the new IP went multiplat.  The other scenario would entirely burn a bridge with M$ and there would never be another working relationship possible.

Even better yet almost a million unique people play halo 3 online each and every day, thats not including people that are having lan parties or the people that don't have xbox live, so basically the amount of people that play halo 3 on a DAILY basis is just a little bit less than all the people that have boughten KZ2...

Just to point out; how many of those are people who own multiple copies too? I won't pretend like I know some all powerful statistic about this worldwide, but from my group of gamer friends (most of whom own a 360 with Halo 3), many have multiple copies of the game (along with multiple consoles) for LAN parties, and some have bought another copy because the first one got scratchet.

I dunno how many people have done this though, I'm just pointing this out.

The same can be said for any game...so that argument is moot
