Forums - Sony - my review of "BATTLEFIELD:BAD COMPANY" for ps3

price : $19.99

trophy support

graphics : the character models are pretty solid all the way through the game, the enemies are animated good. the particle, smoke, explosions, fire, water effects are all nicely shown off. the vehicles are nicely animated as well, when u destroy something like a wall or knock down trees its all cool and everything goes all over the place.

story : is ok u are the new member of bad company a group of ppl who made a choice to join the outfit or go to jail, u basicly go through the game crippling towns of your enemies and learning about a elite force of mercenaries who always pay their ppl with gold bars. and that news makes your fellow soldiers of bad company want too pursue finding this groups stash of gold bars.

weapons : u have a good selection of weapons, u can hold 2 weapons at any given time. if u are low on bullets just melee a enemy to get more ammo. all of the weapons can be found on these gray boxes, which are hidden weapons and of course on your enemies. all the "x" spots on your maps are either a hidden weapon or a "gold bar box".

online : is fun and i think very addicitive, i like it alot. its easy to get into a battle and find ppl to play the game with.

replay value : the hidden weapons, gold bars, beating the game on normal and hard, plus the trophies for online play i think gives this game a good amount of extra playthrough.

overall score : 8

graphics : 8.5

story : 7.5

weapons : 8

replay value : 8.5

Around the Network

yeah Bad Company is the most fun I had with a shooter after KZ2

the only problem with it is that there is almost no body online and it started in November and BTW I play old school Battlefield Conquest mode. I tried gold rush but didn't really got into it found it to be more leaning towards the defending side

anyway very good review I agree with almost all of what you said and for that price it's hard to pass Bad Company

I mostly agree with that review.

Bad Company was fun to play, and the destructible environments were a blast (if a little limited), but it didn't have the overall polish and attention to detail of CoD4 or Killzone 2.

Good review

yes :p

I thought it was an awesome game, though I've only played it on the 360 so far, I'm betting they're quite similar. Destructibility did get pretty predictable after a few buildings were taken down, but I always had a blast doing it anyways.
