i decided to buy the wii from my cousin yesterday. for $520 (baraganed down from $550) i got a wii 2wiimote/nunchucks, SSBB, Twilight Princess, SMG, RE4, Okami, NFS Carbon, Monkey Ball, and Metroid Prime 3. Also on the wii itself i have World of Goo, zelda ocarina, super mario bros, super mario world, and tetris party.

So far, i have only played SSBB, SMG, and MP3.

SSBB is awesome imo.Tripping is the worst thing ever added to smash, i wish they had L cancels and i want more hitstun, i cant do combos like melee... but i guess the extra characters and content outweight that...for now? havent tried wi fi so IM me if you want to play me

SMG... OMG its so awesome! the gravity the graphics( coming from a previous ps3 only owner) the music. i cant describe how much i love this game. this ties MGS4 for my favorite single player game this gen.

MP3. i love the wii mote. the controls feel so fluid and fun in this game. point and shoot is so much more fun than dual analog. if this keeps up i will start to like it more than MP1... if only MP1 had these controls. feeling like trying RE4 now even though ive played the PS2 version

last thing, is there any other games worth getting? these games will last me a while but i will want some new games later. so suggestions (i havent payed much attention to wii games)

I have some good news for you. MP1 and MP2 will be redone with wiimote-controls. My personal favorite wii-game can be seen in my sig. However, if you are an american, you may have to import it ...

Mario Kart, master it, love it. Madworld, Boom Blox, de Blob, decent rail shooters, Trauma Center: New Blood, Super Paper Mario, etc, there are more, but kinda long to list them all.

Get Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn that game is very epic, challengind and fun. And it will last you for long hours.

Mario kart wii... It's so much fun with your friends. Not as much as super smash bros brawl, but mario kart wii has a very good online. You should buy it :)

Also buy the remake of Metroid prime 1 when it comes out outside Japan.
Fire emblem: Radiant dawn is also a good game that you should buy.

Promesing games that still need to come out: TMNT: smash up(it's a bit like brawl), excitebots, overlord:dark legend, Klonoa, Punch out!!, the conduit, FF: crystal bearers, monster hunter3, Virtua tennis 2009, grand slam tennis, pikmin3, new zelda(ooh when? ;( )

Mario Kart Wii is fun.

Also you might consider getting MadWorld and No More Heros.
