"In the gaming world, titles often get delayed again and again, with disappointed fans counting the days until they can get their hands on their hotly anticipated favourites. So it's nice to see a game moving forward in the release schedule for once.
Conan, the Nihilistic-developed action adventure featuring the brawny barbarian will now be released on September 28 in the US and the UK. It is not to be confused with the massively multiplayer online role-playing game Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures developed by Funcom, which is due out for the PC and Xbox 360 next year.
Originally expected to debut in 2008, then brought forward to October 26, it would appear that unlike the MMORPG version, Conan is well ahead of schedule.
The game has a recommended UK retail price of £44.99 for the Xbox 360 version, and £49.99 for the PlayStation 3, with a BBFC rating of 18. In the US, both versions of the game will retail for $59.99 and be rated M for Mature. For more information, check out GameSpot's recent hands-on preview of Conan. "
