Then why not announce them now?

Maybe because E3 is just around the corner...?

Outside of Spirit Tracks, have they annouced anything important?

Depends if you mean announced this year.  But I'd say announcing a release date for WM+ and Wii Sports Resort is pretty important.  But if you mean this year only then yea so far just Spirit Tracks.

Yeah I was talking new game announcements.

I'd say Punch-Out!! is pretty important.

Anyway, I hope they've got some good stuff! Looking forward to E3 :)

Ah then yea just Spirit Tracks.  Punch Out was announced last year too so can't go with that either.  Must be saving up a lot for E3 I suppose such as their entire second half lineup.  All we know thus far, aside from Wii Sports Resort, is Sin and Punishment 2.  Well at least for outside of Japan.  My guess is going to be Pikmin 3 and Kirby.  Would just seem to be the most logical right now.  But I'll welcome a surprise or two haha.

of course, punch out and Wii Resort will definitely move hardware.

i want Pikmin 3, Zelda can have some more development time

You win. Pikmin 3 will be awsome! Zelda can wait.

Switch is 9th generation. Everyone else is playing on last gen systems! UPDATE: This is no longer true. 2nd UPDATE: I have no Switch 2. I am now behind

Probably a new Mario, Zelda and Metroid, and as usual no promising new IP's.

Now I fucking love Mario and Zelda but I wouldn't mind some new titles. I love Gears of War and Uncharted and they're both new IP's. Wii Sports is the only new IP I like from Nintendo this gen.

I agree.

I honestly wish that Nintendo would either bring the bacon, or STFU. That goes for anybody else adopting this marketing strategy. Which is more obnoxious, Nintendo telling us that they have something great they can't talk about, or everybody else saying that because Nintendo hasn't announced anything, they must have nothing?
