That was the best show ever! Well, maybe not but at 6 am before I went to school anything seemed great. lol |
I know what you mean. I used to watch cartoons in the morning while getting dressed. I think reruns of Power Rangers came on in the morning before school. Best mornings ever.

Don't give me that. Realistc games looked fine last gen, why the hell would they not look like that on the Wii. Everyone says that the Wii is as strong as an original Xbox. If that is the case then they could make it look as realistic as the any game on the xbox. You know why they did not do that? Cause the Wii is a kid's console and this style appeals to them more. Thats the hard truth. Get over it. |
LOL.
I'm 34, I prefer the Wii version (yes, it looks *better*) - chalk up one more sale for the Wii version.
Now if only the 360/PS3 versions had the "kiddie look", I would consider them - but they don't, and hence they look worse... so no sale.
The franchise is a *kids* franchise, and includes a popular *cartoon*. If this isn't a valid reason to use cartoon-styled graphics... there never will be one.

The most successful comedy film of the 1980s. You should see it. It's good.
The films were both rated PG.
And yes, the whole point of the film is a joke about rubbing their dongs on each other, leading to an epic explosion of white stuff.
Still PG though. For the whole family.

I don't know SPlinter Cell so I don't know how different those were, but again, this is a different game. What you're doing is similiar to calling Super Mario Bros 3 and Mario 64 the same game because they're both a platformer where you solve jumping puzzles starring Mario where he's trying to save the princess when they are in fact very different games. One final time-- the Wii version is not a port and it's not just a dumbed down somewhat different game. It is a different game. |
What I'm taking from this is that the game is set up much like The Force Unleashed. The PS3 and 360 versions are being made by one dev, and the Wii, PS2, etc are being made by a different dev. Both have different features and are not just ports of the other version.
Either way, I love Ghostbusters, and I can't wait for this game. If it was coming to the PSP, I'd probably buy it for the PS3 and PSP, just because Ghostbusters is that freaking awesome.
@JRPG
If the art style is a big problem for you, don't buy the Wii version... even this becomes a trend, most of the Wii users (at least from this thread) are ok with it as long as it turns out to be a good game... I don't see any problem with it.
MikeB predicts that the PS3 will sell about 140 million units by the end of 2016 and triple the amount of 360s in the long run.
Why would anyone want the Wii version to try to be the same? If you like realism, you are in luck! If you don't (stop pretending we don't exist or that we are just deluding ourselves) that will be available too.
I hope it becomes a trend. I bought a Wii for different experiences, not so I could pretend I had an HD console.

Canby - The Phantom Tollbooth
I can't belive your shocked.
They pretty much SAID THIS FROM DAY ONE. Alot of people knew the game would be different art style.

This here is why I bought Wii.. Different experiences, that's what was promised from the beginning. Games that you simply can't find anywhere else and that is what the Wii is delivering.
