You have a good point MW2 might cut into KZ2 sales.

Call of Duty is now a bigger name than Halo.
Of course it will beat a relatively unknown franchise.

look i have a ps3, i own 15 games, have 5 exclusives, Motorstorm,, LBP, Uncharted, MGS4 and Resistance 2, i own COD 4 and COD5, and have tried KZ2 Demo, and the full game with a friend.

And i really have to tell you though, i dont understand what KZ2 fuzz is all about, i think the game is bland, the graphics arent as good as everyone is making it out to be, the movement distortion is annoying, gameplay is slow, and quite frankly i dont like the whole set. In conclusion i just think the game is waaay overrated, and to be honest i think it is a bad game.

Call of duty 5, on the other part, is a very good game, but keep in mind though that COD 4 is what is making COD 5 sell like that, because quite frankly COD 4 is the best shooter since Counter Strike, and i always hated CS, but i recognize its value to the FPS Genre.

And to the people that is saying KZ2 >> COD4, yeah keep dreaming, it even has luck, if it actually KZ2 >COD5, which i doubt.

Then how can Franchises like Left4Dead, Gears of War sell alot??

 I think it more or less depends on their marketing campaigns.

All KZ2 received was a commercial named Bullet Journey or something.

It was beautiful,yet fancy and did not show a single second of gameplay.

After watching the video,most gamers would still have no clue about this game.

It might raise the interest of the customers on the game,but after all,these CGs can be applied to any game.

MS Ads is waaay better than sony´s and never forget though that 360 playerbase, is more FPS oriented or at least thats my opinion, i think that if you buy a 360, you buy it with Gears and Halo in mind.

If you get a PS3, you want value, you want some PS2 exclusives like GT5, GOD3, FF Novula (both 13s), and 3rd party support.

if you see ps1 and ps2, what made them successful was 3rd party support, all ps3 owners seem to really like third party, if you see at third party sales, a lot of times, ps3 wins over 360 unless it is a FPS.

I.E. SF4, RE5.

i think what sony have to do, is continue having 3rd party support and have those ps2 franchines exclusives comming up already, because frankly the only one that has released is MGS4.

KZ1 was a bad game, you can never really say it was a very anticipated game, but in contrast, GT5, GOD3, final fantasys, all are very wanted, because their ps2 games were really good like GT4, GOD2, MGS3, etc.

And definitely keep activision on your pocket sony.

Price drop would help too

By being marketed well by MS, and by having zombies.

 I think most people will disagree with you on the graphics.

The feel of this game is unique and needs some getting used to.

Maybe you just dig too deep into COD4 and WAW that you reject all FPSs that don't play out like COD.

COD is an entire culture now and has fierce word of mouth.

COD4 on 360 is still selling bucketloads, too.

 I know but most people who notice KZ2 for the first time by seeing the commercial will think it's just CG.
