Very dangerous moments for the Wii in Japan. After MHG there's nothing that could move hardware, until late June with WSR. How low would it get in those weeks??

I don't wanna sound like a pessimist, but I can see sub 10k for some weeks. Never ever thought the Wii craze would have died so fast there. Nintendo is greatly to blame, no excuses.

tres, I have one problem with WSR - is it really going to attract new audience, or just people who played Wii Sports?

Dunno, if people buy new Wii's it would be for M+ mostly. No doubt the game will sell craploads, after all there's a userbase of about 3.5 million that bought the original. Will be a situation like Brain Training and More Brain Training. The bad part is Nintendo waited too long before releasing the follow up, meaning the momentum has been probably lost.

I don't think WSR by itself will help HW that much, M+ on the other hand will, but if Nintendo doesn't release some 2 or 3 games quickly, like weeks or 1 month after they released M+, I see a big catastrophe happening there. They better have something ready, depending solely on WSR until the holidays will mean terrible things.

I have no doubt Wii Sports Resort will sell millions, I just wonder whether it will expand the userbase, or just attract old WS customers.

If anything's going to drive Wii sales, it's MH3.

Why is there such a large variation between MC and Famitsu?

I like Media Create better though ;)

I'm not a 100% sure about this but I think Media Create has more sources thats why it takes MC so long to get there numbers up compared to Famitsu.
