It actually wasnt that bad. However it just goes to show you that OVERHYPING a game kills it. It is hard to live up to the over hyped standards set by fanboys.

This is exactly my opinion, word for word.

Conduit anyone?

I was very close to buying it today, it's at EB for $14.99, (brand new) so I am pretty tempted to go back tomorrow and get it.

I also hear that the updates have improved the quality

I don't think the 750,000 sales can make up for the fact that Free Radical's problems with Haze (Over Budget, past its deadline, lacking features and lower quality) as well as its modest sales were the primary reasons why Free Radical is no longer an independant studio ...

Dude....Haze was far from overhyped. The demo alone killed that...

Yeah, but before that demo the game was hyped to a disgustingly high level.

To be honest with you I picked this up at the budget price of $18.63 thinking, Hell I like many crappy games this has to be worth it. Getting it home and putting it in changed that pretty quick. The morons on my team were enough to turn me off right away. Never had I been so annoyed by game characters.

I haven't touched it since :(

I'd say that just about every terrible game that had hype (Lair, haze, etc.) had that hype completely die off before release.

No one cared about Haze when it came out, and everyone knew Lair was going to suck at release. (especially being that every preview told you it was bad)

I think that all the extras were sub $20 copies...

I preordered this lmao. I liked the online mode with the bots. It was fun. Gameplay was nice also. Good multplayer maps. However my friend and I got lost for an hour on the second level. We gave up after that lol.
