Oh well. I guess I won't be buying it then.

I guess they're expecting it to have the same sort of sales as the first game... Seems like a kind of a gamble but at least they shouldn't lose too much money.

Where does it say that they're making the game for "all current gen platforms"? I can't find it. I skimmed through it a few times thinking I passed over it, but that was to no avail. Can you quote it?

Ubisoft normally put more and more people on a game as developement gets further, so I doubt that 300 figure is every month full time, just the peak number of devs once the deadline starts approaching.
Albeit, if they're spending 2 years and 300 people to make a sequel to a game with the engine already made etc, it's gotta be pretty epic...
Wii is not next gen, is next, of the next gen, that's it! : P
LoL, nobody expected them to to a Wii version anyway...
don't mind my username, that was more than 10 years ago, I'm a different person now, amazing how people change ^_^
IMHO, the game was only ever going to appear on PC, 360 and PS3. It's going to appear on the PSP because Sony have pushed for it and may be financing a bit. I wouldn't expect it to appear on the Wii or DS, seeing as sales would most likely be very poor and may not warrant the time and expense. The DS version of AC1 sold poorly and I doubt they want to recreate the poor sales for a second version for both DS and Wii.
The PSP version could be very good if done right, although it's apparent that an external company is doing it...although I'm not sure who.
