wow voice chat! negt gen baby!
I like that the game is released in two versions, although I dont know what it means lol.
Does anyone know if car damage in GT5 is included for a fact? And perhaps it's only for a limited number of cars?
600 cars is great, but even more amazing is the number of tracks. Doubt it's true though.
They said they planned to introduce it to prologue, but I think they have said they plan to introduce it

Maybe a cheap downloadable ($40-50) and a full retail package with some free in game stuff like credits or something. (to buy a nicer car at the start).

That's a great idea. A cool way to potentially lure people into spending cash online.
Anyone know about the damage models if is confirmed?

Yes, they've said in numerous interviews that they intend on putting in damage on the cars.
I think it should be noted that of the 96 tracks, that'll include the reverse route, as well as the full track and broken up parts (for shorter races) as well. Even with this is mind, there's likely to be at least 20 unique tracks (if not a lot more), which is impressive anyway.
Customisable user created tracks seems a bit too out there to be real though.

Now 20 tracks sounds kinda low all of a sudden lol.
Although Forza 2 I think had no more than 15 real unique tracks, but it got old quick. (how many unique tracks had GT4, or some other metric to compare the number of tracks Forza 2 versus GT4?)
I demand at least 30 unique tracks.

Well, we have a minimum of 48 different tracks if the 96 is correct.
Then you deduct in case they cut certains parts off for different races.
