Oh my word, this is the best feeling ever. Over 9000 words and like a kajillion diagrams and I'm done. I didn't realise it would be such a weight off my back. I'm extremely happy with it and would not change a thing, it's perfect. People said it would make me hate the subject I was writing about (Autostereoscopic displays), but if anything I'm more enthusiastic now.

There were a few things I had to cut out because I was told it wasn't relevent to the report and one of those aspects was 3D gaming, which I wasn't happy about lol.

But wow, I think this is the biggest thing I have ever accomplished.

A dissertation is basically a looong report on a subject that you have to complete in Britain if you want to get the four little letter 'HONS' at the end of your degree.

I did have about 500 words on the gaming industry using this technology, but I was told to disregard it as it had little to with the report and just defered from the main subject.

So is it similar to a thesis? Sounds like it.

It was part of a much larger project, so 9000 words is a maybe little misleading. However, the other day it was 12,500, but I was told to get rid of a fair bits because it either went into to much depth or was unrelated/rambling.
