Since release, it keeps selling and selling and selling and then selling some more.

I don't think there are any console that's got such an attach rate.

It's showing no sign of slowing down.

Will it inevitably become the highest selling game/add-on (in both categories)?

Wii Fit will outsell Mario Bros before the end of this gen. All those angry folk who went mental about the news item about Wii Sports outselling Mario Bros will then go mental all over again. This time about the fact it is not a true game or its sales don't count as it is bundled with an accessory.

Without doubt it's the best step Nintendo made this gen, and is arguably why the Wii is so popular. All of my friends (I know in person) with a Wii primarily bought it for Wii Fit (about 12 of them). My wife, even knowing that she hates almost everything else about the Wii, still has to struggle with herself not to buy a Wii and Wii Fit.
