What Do You Guys Reckon?

My final future consoles thread, hope you enjoy(ed) them all,

Sega have nowhere near enough money to make a new console
If Apple 'releases' a console, it will be called the iTV, merely an upgraded model of it

I hope not but if is....SEGA FTW!!!!

sega is shot, they can't even make a decent sonic game (minus handheld)

Where did you get the confirmation that there will be at least 3 consoles, to begin with?

Sega cannot, too expensive. For me its either Apple or EA.
I cant see it happening. Look at the market as it stands, You have three experienced companies, 2 of them are 2 of the biggest tech companies in the world and the other one is the current market leader. Its no time for newbies

1) Highly unlikely
2) Apple and Samsung are the only ones who could afford it.
3) iGame, no idea what Samsung would call it.
4) 2013
5) Apple: Some form of motion sensing, perhaps touchscreen (lol)
Samsung: Gamepad, probably. They don't seem very open to groundbreaking technology.
6) When hell freezes over. Both would finish fourth.

4 ≈ One

Like i've said before, after Sony and Microsoft firmly shut the door for new entry into the industry, Nintendo opened it right back up again. Nintendo showed that with the right business model, as well as a strong first-party software lineup, you don't need to subsidize to gain ground in the industry. SEGA could, if they got their financial shit together (unlikely)

I agree with Dgc1808, tough. Verizon i think is gunning for a position similar to Sony and Microsoft, to craft the all-in-one experience, and they are well-poised for entry.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.
