Nice to see plenty of Rico hate
Any chance of being a Helghast in Killzone 3?
Afterall... at the end of KZ2 it was made out that the ISA were infact the bad guys.

I feel KZ2's ending one one of the better game endings I have seen in a very long time(especially Radec boss fight). The game definitely ended on a good note(good as in fun, not happy lol). There will def be a sequel. Things for GG to think about for KZ3....
-Kill Fucking Rico. He officially became enemy #1 once he got the most useful squad mate killed over his rediculous anger issues. This guy needs to fucking die, preferably by torture from the Helghast(especially seeing as he is the one who killed Vasari).
-Make a younger, yet more ruthless dictator come to power. And I mean young....15 or so young. Matter of fact, make him Vasari's son. OOOO, EPIC!!!
-Make a fucking Coop!!!! Very dumb move sacrificing a feature that Resistance already ditched and was punished for. FPS's NEED Coop, if only to quell the idea of one shooter having a feature over another. It is ok if the graphics have to be downgraded just a tad, it would be worth it.
-More Badges(classes) with larger list of moves and sub badge abilities(maybe make a mech class, with special ability to use mechs for an extended period )
-dismemberment. The only body part that comes off is the Head. Make it more believable by making any killing blow with a shot gun takes off the limb.
-Extend level cap, 20 was really short. Got it in no time. Ribbons were cool tho

PS
ANd the BOMBSHELL ADDITION!!!!
-Give option to either be Helghast OR ISA. That shit would trump all. Equivically make 2 Campaigns!!!!!

Couldn't they not nuke because of some crazy air defense system the Helghast had? I think he said it in the beginning, when he was like "I wish we could just blast them from up here" or something along those lines. |
Yeah in the beginnning, but then you take out that air defense system/reactor with air support. Remember when you on on Visari's hammer and ride the elevator up? The big purple light beam comes down and blows the shit out of the place. The only reason you are on foot is to extract visari himself alive to bring him to a public trial. If you kill him you make a matyr of him. So they could have just blew up the palace and you would never have to have so many people die in vain, like EVERYONE
Fact: Earthbound is the greatest game ever made

Doesnt matter that they died in vain really because after Visari is killed, they realize they are all well... fucked anyways.
After Visari is killed, they walk outside in the presence of, what you ask ? Why let me tell you, an entire fleet of Helghast ships.
Take in consideration, there are less then a handful of ISA ships left, and now they are faced with the task of facing off against an entire FLEET of Helghast ships. In essence they are no less then clusterfucked. But nothing is shown as to what happens, alot of factors still come into play, Killzone 3 will probably pick right off from the end of Killzone 2, then again maybe not, who knows but GG really.
1.) The Helghast's will to live and fight, Visari, is now dead
2.) Radec, the Helghast wonderboy who breathes life into the Helghast military has killed himself.
3.) Who is the second in command to take over the reign of Helghast Emperor ? Someone must be ready to take command.
And there are many more questions that still come into play. No doubt Killzone 3 will answer all the questions that may have arisen to you and there is no doubt it will be one hell of a epic game.

Rico didn't kill Visari, Guerilla did.
They killed off one of the only interesting characters in the entire series, and even used Rico's rage as a lazy way to do it. I don't see what's with all the Rico hate - they could've replaced him with anyone else in the squad to kill Visari and it'd barely make any difference. Sure he cusses alot, but he's definitely a much more believable character compared to Garza, who kinda ruined what was supposed to be a gritty war-like setting with all the lame jokes in his dialogue. At least Rico shows some aggression and feeling towards the Helghast.....Garza looks like he just came along because he was bored er somethin.
The only interesting parts of Killzone's story and background is the stuff that isn't even included in the game. What they give us instead is a half-assed ending. If they really wanted Visari dead, they could've found a better way to do it. Still though, they could've done lots of interesting things with a captured Visari instead.
If GG is gonna continue putting the main story events on the internet and save the lame parts for the game, then I can't say I'm excited about what KZ3's plot will be =\
