So let me get this straight, ioi sales data are estimates. So if they are estimates he must not be getting the whole US nor NPD is doing the same and he also must not be getting the whole Japan country either. There are still more than likely units being sold that he is not adding in his estimates. For example, the 360 sold 70,000 (i rounded) so there might be stores he didn't get and actually it might have been 100,000 units that were sold in that week. Who knows, I just know ioi is not getting the whole US or Japan or Europe.

Okay...so this thread has had a chance to breathe. It has now just become people giving pats on the backs for their retorts to Sharky's little rant. I think it is time this thread was locked. It is slanderous and divisive and serves no purpose on these boards, other than for us to remark about what a great site VGChartz is. The "ioi is back" thread should suffice for that. It is much more enjoyable and less confrontational than this. If someone wants to debate the numbers, by all means open a "360 numbers underreported" thread or whatever. Specific attacks against specific members are not accepted at this forum.

Mods...please lock.
