What if FPS/3PS games started to sell as good (or better) on the Wii as they do on the other systems?

• In comparison the other systems would start to look more risky to publishers
  
• Large publishers would start shifting their main projects to the Wii
  
• Most of the 3rd party support for the other systems would move towards the Wii
  
• Fewer games would get made on the other systems
  
• Fewer people would buy the other systems

That would be fantastic, but I can't see people stop hating the Wii. It's just unimaginable for me.
So, in your hypothetical situation, do the PS360 still sell games well? Because if they still do, there will still be lots of hate for Wii, and the HD snob elite would be even more spiteful.

I'm not entirely sure what theoretical you are asking. Obviously, the number of Wii's sold is fixed at the maximum that Nintendo can produce

So are you asking 'What would happen if there were more shooter fans buying the Wii, but only exactly as many people buying the Wii in total?'?
My answer then is that unfortunately, generic shooters would have sold better whilst really interesting and unique games like Boom Blox, Madworld, Zack and Wiki, Wii Fit, Wii Music, would have sold worse. I think on the whole it would have stopped a lot of the good 3rd party support the Wii is getting.

Or are you asking 'How cool would it be if more shooter fans bought the Wii, also there was more supply for the Wii somehow?'?

I don't think it'd affect other consoles or developers at all. Now instead of Wii version of a shooter selling 1-2 million it would sell 5-6 million. Just more money in the pocket for multiplat games. Though it would mean Wii would get more of the shooters but it really wouldn't affect PS360 too much. Although they may stop putting riskier shooters on the console and go for userbase instead. Or just on all of them.

Decent shooters do sell well on Wii.

I always thought the wii was going to emerge this generation as the FPS/3ps capital. I mean the wii is basically like having one of those arcade shooting things in your home. I guess i was wrong :(
