Bottom line IMO:

At the end of the day Republicans claimed the world was a great place to live when Bush was president. But as soon as Obama, a liberal socialist who is black and most likely atheist, comes into power almost overnight they begin to play the underdogs. Claiming that the country has gone down the tubes, society has broken up, financial crisis has hit (as though it didn't with Bush) and if we are not careful he will take away your freedoms (which if you wanna talk about that lets talk Bush).

Don't worry, the Democrats did the same thing when Bush was in power.

That's my summary of American politics in the past few years anyway

Wow mikey he gets it!  For the record, I didn't agree with any of the last part of Bush's presidency.  Let businesses fail and let the free market work.

I don't think he's agree with you so much as he is owning you. The point is that the moment they lose power , conservatives immidiately get whiny and bitchy and COMPLETELY forget that the problems were caused by them and lay everything on someone whose plans haven't even BEGUN to take any effect.

I guess everyone forgot how Dems bitched during the last 8 years.  Now its your turn to take it and if you can't get the hell out of the political kitchen.

Wait wait. I don't remember people crying to secede. Do you? Maybe someone else does. Onyx? Montana? Anyone?

Also, as you can tell, we were right to bitch. Country's in such a recession that people are living in modern-day hoovervilles. So realistically, we were right, you were wrong. Cause now we're in deep shit of what you advocated and we bitched about.

To be fair a lotof people were claiming there would be a new Civil War.

Usually do to class warfare, despite the fact that Bush was one of the best presidents in regard to keeping the rich from getting richer.

Yes, that's true. But we're not talking inter-class conflicts. Though I'm sure it's more of a revolutoin than a civil war if it's poor vs rich.

Wow, how insensitive. I hope you end up homeless and jobless and starving. I really do.

It's not wanting to get a job, it's being extremely unfortunate.

My Brother can't get a job, last job he had was 3 months ago and he did it for free to put something on his CV. He's not a hippie and he has been looking like mad. If it wasn't for my parents he would be in that tent city.

Catchy tune.

Anyways, I'm all for states succeeding from the union. The sooner the union breaks up, the sooner the EU takes it's place as super power. :P

Oh, and if you haven't heard halogamer in the flesh yet, here is a Youtube video of him:

We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a salt shaker half full of cocaine, a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers…Also a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether and two dozen amyls.  The only thing that really worried me was the ether.  There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge. –Raoul Duke

It is hard to shed anything but crocodile tears over White House speechwriter Patrick Buchanan's tragic analysis of the Nixon debacle. "It's like Sisyphus," he said. "We rolled the rock all the way up the mountain...and it rolled right back down on us...."  Neither Sisyphus nor the commander of the Light Brigade nor Pat Buchanan had the time or any real inclination to question what they were doing...a martyr, to the bitter end, to a "flawed" cause and a narrow, atavistic concept of conservative politics that has done more damage to itself and the country in less than six years than its liberal enemies could have done in two or three decades. -Hunter S. Thompson

I'm not sure i see the difference...  I mean most civil wars in the history of the world have been the poor vs the rich.
