Still too early to tell. Not until the PS3 hits mass market price will we know what's going to happen when it comes to PS3 vs 360 sales.

Seems unlikely the gap would get that big unless Sony mess up with the price drop or 360 really takes off (perhaps MS could drop the price to silly levels).

Right now the PS3 is selling a little behind the 360 WW with a huge price difference and is matching it (withing error levels) some weeks due to big titles. If anything I expect the gap to close after a PS3 price drop so I would expect the current 8M plus gap to have narrowed by 2011.



Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...

I don't think it'll sell that much by 2011. Even so, PS3 lost the momentum it needs to pass Xbox 360 a year ago.

The day PS3 passes 360 it won't matter anyway since MS will have a new console on the market.

I don't think the PS3 will catch up to the 360 worldwide, BUT to say the gap will remain at 30% is crazy talk (imo).

I think the final gap will be between 5-10 million

My assumptions come from the fact that 360 is ahead of PS3 by about 30 percent and my belief is that this will continue, anyone agree?

I agree that the 360 will have a lead, but my guess is that it will be something similar to what it is now. About a 8-10 million difference
