Forums - Website Topics - Can we ban people that lie about their game collections?

@ axumblade, the service is being worked on, currently anything tracked (wishlist) etc. just goes into your collection, it is somewhere in the official VGC 2.0 thread

This is the internet. There's no sure-fire way to determine whether or not people are lying about their collections.

Also, pet peeves shouldn't be bannable.

Pixel Art can be fun.

Lol @ this thread

There is one game I have one SNES game on my list but not in real life. I added it because it looked good and I didn't want to forget it so I could research into buying it.

That's OK right?... RIGHT?

i never lied about my gamecollection!!!!!,okokok! there's some game not completly mine,50/50 with a friend.......xd,don't tell me it does't counte lol

I think we should ban all people who DON'T put all the games they own into their VgChartz game profile collection!
It would require a live video feed of every members home so the mods can keep a constant vigil, making sure they don't go out and buy any games without adding it to their collection within 24 hours.

Yeah, thats dumb, so is crying over people making shiz up on the internet...

No way, a lot of people add unreleased games because they intend on purchasing them soon after they come out. I think I own a few unreleased games haha.

How about we just make it so that no one can add a game to their collection until the release date...

and i also saw someone with a game collection of 20,000

I own more than 5k games and know of people with more than 10k games.

So 20k is possible
