Forums - Website Topics - I have to ask, I really do but do you believe this?

There is a certain member on here who has a ridiculous number of games, possibly almost every game on the site or ever released? I think many of you know who I'm talking about. Maybe I'm missing something here and it's a  joke? I spend a little bit of time on this site but a lot of you are here more often and could clue me in. Although if this is someone actually pretending to have all these games, it's a little silly.

Everytime I go to check out a game or add it to my own profile, I see this user as an owner. It's ridiculous. And since I looked at some recently released games and saw the user there, I know they buy new games often most likely. So I could easily figure between all the consoles and handhelds along with games, it could've cost over a million dollars. Where would someone even get the time to play half those games? Another thing I looked at was a game that I believe just came out this week and the user has a copy for PS3 and also Xbox 360 too? WTF?!?! I'm pretty sure it's the same game.

So I just have to call it BS. Opinions?

In college I would smoke many weeds and drink many beer. Now that I am older I buy many game because I cannot afford to be wasted all the time.

Answer question?

This member was recently interviewed here. Maybe it will shed some light on the subject. Then again, maybe not!

LOL

No one really has that many games!

Nintendo still doomed?

Doesn't it make you feel like your not that special anymore, when you thought nobody had that game, but you?

Good thing I was here before that whole vgchartzgirl fiasco. I'm the first owner of lots of games before him/her/it.

It is a simple exploit in the website code. The user simply thinks that exploiting code leads to it being fixed. This is the same argument that virus writers use when they write a virus (there are a few other "reasons" for writing viruses but whatever). Sadly, it is the stupidest reasoning I've ever heard. Point it out, show how you would exploit it, and then move on and leave the fix up to them. If they decide not to fix it, it is their own problem and it doesn't mean you should exploit it anyways.

As for having added the games, it irritates me, as I think "oh someone owns this awesome game that I did" and then it turns out it is the same person who doesn't own the game.

If you drop a PS3 right on top of a Wii, it would definitely defeat it. Not so sure about the Xbox360. - mancandy

Maybe he or she has multiple gamers and systems in their house or apt. Maybe some of the people in that house swear by Wii, others 360, and others PS3.

The member probably doesn't have a prefference and play every system and the people with them share there games in a common library rather than hording them away in their rooms.

It can happen why disbelieve- and why care? Why don't you use the mail function and ask them?
