We barely know anything about this game, except for its graphics and some origami picture.

People are hyping this like they are Alan Wake, without any basis on facts and reality lol

Uuh...no. Some of us DO know what we're looking forward to. If it isn't your cup of tea, then that's fine. Don't knock it cause YOU aren't interested though.

Nobody is knocking it you're just being overly sensitive.

Except that I wasn't speaking to you

Exactly why I said nobody and not me

This is about HEAVY RAIN....I'm going back on topic, there's nothing progressing here.

I love how you get your point across and shout ON TOPIC so the convo stops there ..

The convo was on topic until your insecurities started to derail it.

Honestly CGI its just a game, you take it all far too seriously. I think you will have a breakdown if HR flops!!!!!!!!!!!

What we have here is someone who doesn't know what he's talking about. I have said time and time again, I DON'T CARE ABOUT IT'S SALES....

*sigh* Now that that's outta the way....I'm waiting for release....

Yeah right ... anyway I could replace it with GAMEPLAY and suffice to say it would still be the same. I guess you can love that jumper grandma knit you if you try hard enough ............so I'm sure you will love it ;)

Remembered? The game isn't even out yet.  For all we know it could be incredible or it could turn out to be the next Lair or Too Human.

Assuming it will be remembered, it will be graphics and nothing else. So far it looks like QTE's followed by more QTE's which is _lame_.

I'm sure it will be at least more interesting than most QTE games since it's trying for something different, but a QTE game is still a QTE game and a QTE game means someone lazy made it.

Well, it's a question about the game's future. We're not talking about now

Favorite films. Foreign films forever!

I fear another Shenmue inciddent..where everyone seems to think the gaming industry will never be the same.....but im not sure, it looks pretty good...but motion capturing the look is not as impresive as let say...Ninja Gaiden sigma 2....

Day after release Heavy Rain goes into the record books for the most QTE scenes in a game.

i think i personally will remember it's story, and how epic it is.

iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.

Currently playing:

Final Fantasy VI (iOS), Final Fantasy: Record Keeper (iOS) & Dragon Quest V (iOS)

Got a retro room? Post it here!

I hope both its story and graphics will feel very real and human, that it does indeed fall in the Uncanny Vally. I hope the characters feel, just as they look, human. Your actions hold a lot of weight, consequences, and personal investment. The plot is believable, relevant to our everyday lives, but is done artistically and beautifully.

I think that it's wrong to tout graphics as the most important feature, but also to deride it as something irrelevant. The purpose of game graphics, IMHO, is to add to the suspense of disbelief.

This game's graphics seem to do so, and again, I hope they take full advantage of that by supplementing it to/with the plot.
