Rick Dangerous and Rick Dangerous 2 are really awesome games. But they're not that tough. They just require a lot of trial & error and memorization.

only one in the list that i ever finished is MDK2 but my brother finish portal and cod4 so that must mean that they arent that hard! btw i dont finish those because i dont play them ever.

Exactly. This was on the C64 and Amiga. It has to be the hardest game ever made!

Gunsmoke on the nes... that game is VERY unforgiving.

Gunsmoke arcade as i remember it was almost impossible.

what about killzone 2 on elite versus radec. Took me forever to beat it.

I guess they're including the additional play modes in Portal - not the main storyline levels.

Also, given Tetris doesn't actually have an end it seems odd to have it in the list. If you include games that just get harder until you fail then the list should be full of nothing but unbeatable games.

I wonder whether they were considering 'normal' difficulty or a games highest possible difficulty.

Also, Battletoads is more difficult than Ninja Gaiden. And Megaman 9? C'mon, with the shop the game was too easy compared to the Nes games.
