I like the controller of the gamecube, and the cool colors.

I have 200 dollars and can get WII and WII PLay for 200 or get gamecube with like ten used games.

I don't like Mario games, so don't tell me about those.

Definitely a Wii, it can play GC games as well, so it's like getting both a Wii + GC in 1 Wii.

You could do some research yourself. I was going to look at what games you have to make some recommendations.. but you don't have anything listed.

buy wii and gamecube controller, buy some cheap gamecube games and some wii games.

This shouldn't even be a question. Get the Wii and you'll have both.

GC can play GC games.
Wii can play GC games, VC games, Wii games, and download DS demos to your DS if you have one.

The only reason to prefer a GC is you have a Game Boy Player so you can play GB, GBC, and GBA games on your TV.

Either way, GC games are really cheap used now and they'll play in both systems. So I'd go with the Wii. It comes with the ultimate party game too.

GET THE WII!!!!!!! no question whatsoever. You can even use all the old GC accessories if you want, and a Wii will impress the ladies much more. >_>
