Elderly people play it. Youth play it. The middle ground play it. Fans of shooters. Fans of platformers. Casuals.

Only people it doesn't seem to appeal to are graphics whores. And that can be adverted by games with artistic visuals like Okami, de Blob and No More Heroes.

I just want to point out I've enjoyed the Dreamcast, PS2, and Xbox far more than I've ever enjoyed the Wii. The Wii has superior graphics than those but it lacks the library I enjoy.

HD still makes up a little over 50% of the market. There are still plenty of people who think the waggle doesn't compensate for higher quality games.
