Exactly how much money does Sony have to spend on advertising to suddenly make consumers want to buy a console that is more expensive, and whose games don't look that much better? If that were the case, then could Sony spend so much money on advertising it beat the Wii.
Ok, on this "closeD gap" comment: Let's say the gap is a my fly on my pants being completely open. I mostly zip the fly on my pants, but didn't completely zip it. My fly is still open. The same with the gap. The gap is not closed. One can say the gap is closing, but it hasn't closed yet.
So, since this is a Pachter comment, I will predict here that the opposite is now true: The 360 now has a PERMANENT lead over the PS3. A Bizzarro Pachter is likely more accurate than the regular Pachter, so I would side with that.
